After the Governor’s unfortunate but necessary news yesterday…some of our Senior’s came to the school to “be heard” so to speak. I am not condoning unnecessary travel, and I am not sure this qualifies as “essential”, but these students must have felt this type of “therapy” fit the bill. They left positive messages for our school and for the incoming Class of 2021…man I’m going to miss all of you.
This has been an absolute amazing group of kids from day one their freshman year…they have gotten involved, showed great emotion and desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves, had great success in and out of the classroom, and just generally been a great group to be around.
Class of 2021 and future classes take note…they were not perfect, but they certainly have left their mark on Cloverdale High School. When I used to coach, I always tried to make sure when we visited a school for a game and used their locker room, we left it in better condition than we found it. Class of 2020…congratulations…in my humble opinion…you have made an already amazing place even better after your 4 years here!
Finish strong…finish your e-Learning…and from the legendary coach, “Norman Dale” (and my favorite movie!)…just know that “I LOVE YOU GUYS…”
