Girls Golf Defeats Crawfordville

The Girls’ Golf team defeated Crawfordsville 215 to 220 Tuesday at Clover Meadows:
Coach Langdon has this to say about the win:
“After speaking with their coach, we figured this would be a very tight match.  Girls at each position had shot similar scores all year.  In this type of match it becomes about whether you can beat the girl you are playing with.  We won 3 out of the top 4 of those match-ups (losing the one by 1 stroke).  This was a good meet to gauge where we are at early in the season. I am happy with the progress the girls are making.”

The Clovers were lead by Harlee Feutter who shot a meet low 46.  The girls will be in action again next Monday at home again in a 3-way meet verse South Putnam and Owen Valley.  Good Job Ladies.

GO CLOVERS!
